Hunger Educational Information

Hunger in the United States is a very real issue and is very prevalent in Idaho.  In the past couple years Idaho has been affected by the economic downturn.  During most of 2010 Idaho's unemployment rate has remained close to 9% and the underemployment rate was 12.5%.  Also in 2010 Idaho was the number one state in the country with the highest increase in food stamp use.

Many Idahoans are struggling with hunger on a daily basis...many for the first time.  This section provides infomation about hunger in Idaho and in the United States.
