Feeding America, the nation's leading hunger-relief charity headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, is a United States-based nonprofit organization consisting of a nationwide network of more than 200 food banks and food rescue organizations that serve virtually every county in the United States as well as Puerto Rico. The current president and CEO is Vicki B. Escarra. Feeding America was known as America's Second Harvest until August 31, 2008.

For more than 5 years the Idaho Foodbank (IFB) has been partnered with Feeding America providing a gateway to large food donations through its ‘choice system’. Available in the 'choice system' are a variety of food items donated by the network's corporate partners. The Feeding America network also provides additional opportunities to cause-related marketing programs, donation opportunities, education and resource materials.
