The Picnic in the Park Program provides nutrition for food-insecure children in the Boise area during the summer months, when the school lunch they depend on is unavailable. The program helps fill the nutritional gap so children can get the food they need.
FREE LUNCH is provided to ALL children, ages 1-18 – no exceptions, no income verification, and no identification asked.

Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.

As you are cleaning your cupboards and closets, please consider donating what you don’t need at Kendall Ford’s Spring Cleaning food and clothing drive. Your clean pantry will support The Idaho Foodbank and a clean closet can support the WCA, books and videos will benefit local schools. Collection bins are set up at Kendall Ford in Meridian, through May 18th.

What’s a virtual food drive? A Virtual Food Drive is a great alternative or addition to a traditional “physical” food drive. Virtual Food drives are hosted on our website and enable a way for your work, business, organization or neighborhood to host a customized food drive online. Folks can simply choose a food drive in progress, select the items they would like to donate, check out and their done. Funds raised will automatically calculate into the total of that drive. So if you are into competition, this is a great way to challenge your co-workers, teams, other businesses, or just see how well your organization can do. Get started |
