Saturday Nov. 21st

Are you feeling groovy and kind?

Albertsons Intermountain West Division recently donated two refrigerated trucks to the Foodbank. Now they need to be filled with food, and J-105 and K-HITS listeners are the key.

J-105 and K-HITS on-air personalities will participate in FOODSTOCK, a half-day contest to see whose listeners can fill their favorite station’s truck first. It’s set for Saturday, Nov. 21, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Eagle and McMillan Albertsons (4700 North Eagle Road).

Here’s how it works: Simply stop by the Eagle and McMillan Albertsons and pledge $5. Watch as on-air personalities grab food essentials for The Idaho Foodbank and race to their trucks to fill them up first. How persuasive can each team be? There will be prizes and fun for everyone.

Listeners can also sign up to win Metallica tickets and a movie package at Edwards.
Albertsons will present a $50,000 check to The Idaho Foodbank at noon.
